Coming from New Orleans

( 30 minutes away from N.O. airport )
Upon exiting  the N.O airport, turn right on Airline Hwy.
Exit Airline Hwy. at Boutte on Hwy. 310, South.
Travel approximately 10 miles, merge onto US. 90 West towards Houma.
Travel US. 90 for 15-20 minutes.
Take Exit 215 B  which leads into Hwy. 308.
Turn Right on Hwy. 308 and travel West for 6 miles.
A Chateau on the Bayou Bed & Breakfast is located on the left side along Bayou Lafourche at 3158 Hwy. 308 Raceland, LA.

Coming from Houma:

If you are coming from Houma on U.S. 90, you will take Exit 210 (Raceland/Houma).
This leads you straight to Hwy. 182.
Turn right on Hwy. 182 and travel East for 3.5 miles until you get to a bridge.
Go straight and cross over the bridge  (dead end).
Turn left on Hwy. 308 and travel 3.1 miles.
A Chateau on the Bayou Bed & Breakfast is located on the left side along Bayou Lafourche at 3158 Hwy. 308, Raceland, LA.



 Is it “up the bayou” or “down the bayou”?
 

Directions given by Cajuns make sense only if you remember which way the bayou is running.

 Examples: 
 Down the bayou - “Grand Isle is down the bayou from everywhere!”
 Up the bayou -  “Thibodaux is up the bayou from Raceland.”
 On the bayouside - “She lives on the bayouside.”
